VFA-41 Black Aces commander during the Nimitz incident. On November 14, 2004, Fravor and Alex Dietrich visually intercepted a white oblong object (~40 ft) with no exhaust trail, instant acceleration, maneuvers defying known physics. Foundational case of the « five observables ».
